Cabot is a chemicals and performance materials company. Co. has four business segments: Reinforcement Materials, which includes rubber blacks products used in tires and industrial products; Performance Materials, which is comprised of carbon black and thermoplastic concentrates and compounds, as well as fumed silica, fumed alumina and dispersions; Advanced Technologies, which is comprised of the Inkjet Colorants, Aerogel, Security Materials, Elastomer Composites and Specialty Fluids Businesses; and Purification Solutions, which consist of activated carbon products used for the purification of water, air, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and other liquids and gases.
