Hornbeck Offshore Services is a provider of marine transportation services to exploration and production, oilfield service, offshore construction and U.S. military customers. Co. operates two segments in the marine industry: Upstream, which operates offshore supply vessels and multi-purpose support vessels in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GoM), other U.S. coastlines, Latin America and the Middle East and operates a shore-base facility in Port Fourchon, LA; and Downstream, which operates ocean-going tugs and tank barges that provide coastwise transportation of refined and bunker grade petroleum products as well as downstream services in the northeastern U.S, the GoM, Great Lakes and Puerto Rico.
