Kinder Morgan owns and manages energy transportation and storage assets. Co. operates or owns an interest in pipelines that transport natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide and other products; and terminals that store petroleum products, chemicals and handle bulk materials like coal and petroleum coke. Co.'s operations are conducted in the following business segments: natural gas pipelines, products pipelines, carbon dioxide, terminals, Kinder Morgan Canada, and other; all through its limited partner interests of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. At Dec 31 2012, Co. had total proved reserves of 82.0 million barrels of crude oil and 6.1 million barrels of natural gas liquids.
