Laredo Petroleum Holdings is a holding company. Through its subsidiary, Co. explores, develops and acquires oil and natural gas. Co.'s activities are focused in the Wolfberry and deeper horizons of the Permian Basin in West Texas and the Anadarko Granite Wash in the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma. Co. also has activities in the Dalhart Basin located on the western side of the Texas Panhandle, in the Central Texas Panhandle, and in the eastern end of the Anadarko Basin, in Caddo County, OK. At Dec 31 2011, Co.'s net proved reserves are estimated at 156.5 million barrels of oil equivalent, with 56.3 million barrels of oil and condensate and 601.12 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
