Noble Energy is an energy company engaged in oil and gas exploration and production. As of Dec 31 2012, Co. had operations in five main areas: the DJ Basin (onshore U.S.); the Marcellus Shale (onshore U.S.); the deepwater Gulf of Mexico (offshore U.S.); offshore West Africa; and offshore Eastern Mediterranean. Co.'s properties consist primarily of interests in developed and undeveloped crude oil and natural gas leases and concessions. As of the same date, Co. had total proved crude oil, condensate and natural gas liquids reserves of 357.0 million barrels; and total proved natural gas reserves of 4,964.00 billion cubic feet.
