SPY, RUSL: Big ETF Inflows
updated Monday, September 29, 12:45 PMComparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which added 27,900,000 units, or a 3.1% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is down about 1%, and Exxon Mobil (XOM) is lower by about 1.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Daily Russia Bull 3x Shares (RUSL), which added 3,200,000 units, for a 38.8% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of RUSL, in morning trading today Market Vectors Russia ETF (RSX) is off about 3%.
