SPY, DRN: Big ETF Inflows
updated Thursday, October 30, 12:37 PMComparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which added 49,600,000 units, or a 5.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is off about 0.5%, and Exxon Mobil (XOM) is lower by about 0.9%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Daily Real Estate Bull 3x Shares (DRN), which added 400,000 units, for a 25.0% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of DRN, in morning trading today Vanguard REIT Index ETF (VNQ) is off about 0.3%.
