 Chesapeake Shares Rise Following CEO Announcement

After months of searching for a CEO, Chesapeake Energy (CHK) has found a replacement for ousted founder Aubrey McClendon. The company has hired Robert Douglas Lawler, previously of Anadarko Petroleum (APC) to take over the company's top position. Lawler will take the reins on June 17th and will also be joining the board of directors. Shares of Chesapeake Energy were headed higher on the news this morning.
