SPY, BJK: Big ETF Outflows
updated Tuesday, December 2, 2:02 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), where 5.1 million units were destroyed, or a 0.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is down about 0.1%, and Exxon Mobil (XOM) is up by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Gaming ETF (BJK), which lost 650,000 of its units, representing a 39.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of BJK, in morning trading today Las Vegas Sands (LVS) is down about 0.1%, and Wynn Resorts (WYNN) is up by about 0.5%.
