GASL, IGN: Big ETF Outflows
updated Wednesday, February 11, 12:38 PMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Daily Natural Gas Related Bull 3x Shares (GASL), where 3,450,000 units were destroyed, or a 13.0% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of GASL, in morning trading today Anadarko Petroleum (APC) is down about 1%, and Apache (APA) is lower by about 4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares North American Tech-Multimedia Networking ETF (IGN), which lost 2,500,000 of its units, representing a 38.5% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of IGN, in morning trading today Juniper Networks (JNPR) is up about 0.5%, and Cisco Systems (CSCO) is lower by about 0.8%.
