IWD, REMX: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Russell 1000 Value ETF, where 2,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 0.7% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IWD, in morning trading today Exxon Mobil is off about 0.2%, and JP Morgan Chase is higher by about 0.6%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF, which lost 450,000 of its units, representing a 14.6% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of REMX, in morning trading today Tronox is up about 0.1%, and Lithium Americas is higher by about 1.7%.
