GREK, UTLF: Big ETF Outflows
updated Tuesday, September 12, 10:47 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the MSCI Greece ETF (GREK), where 1,750,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.2% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of GREK, in morning trading today Gaslog (GLOG) is off about 0.3%, and Tsakos Energy Navigation (TNP) is up by about 1.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares Edge MSCI Multifactor Utilities ETF (UTLF), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of UTLF, in morning trading today Nextera Energy (NEE) is off about 1.2%, and Exelon (EXC) is lower by about 0.8%.
