IWD, CROC: Big ETF Outflows
updated Friday, January 12, 10:47 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Russell 1000 Value ETF (IWD), where 9,900,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.0% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IWD, in morning trading today JP Morgan Chase (JPM) is up about 1%, and Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is higher by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares ProShares UltraShort Australian Dollar (CROC), which lost 100,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
