OIH, JDST: Big ETF Outflows
updated Wednesday, April 24, 10:46 AMLooking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Oil Services ETF (OIH), where 3,800,000 units were destroyed, or a 7.7% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of OIH, in morning trading today Schlumberger (SLB) is down about 1.5%, and Halliburton Company (HAL) is lower by about 1.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Daily Junior Gold Miners Index Bear 3X Shares (JDST), which lost 650,000 of its units, representing a 35.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
